Monthio is a fintech company established in 2018 with the ambition to redefine financial services. We offer a flexible and diverse work environment, and we’ll provide you with the right tools and conditions for you to do your best work. We’re currently a team of around 60 people.
We offer a B2B SaaS product that’s used by some of the largest European financial institutions to revolutionise their credit processes and simplify their customer experiences. Our product radically improves the cumbersome data collection and consolidation process that’s typically found in lending and other bank products, allowing both the banks’ customers and advisors to focus on what really matters. We draw on a wealth of data sources to construct a comprehensive financial overview of any customer, enabling financial institutions to offer better and easier advisory to their customers.
We are looking for a mid/senior level Product Designer with a strong UI focus. This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to shape and elevate our design language and overall user experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Design: Lead design efforts from ideation to final implementation, contributing to both new features and the overall product vision.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create seamless user experiences, and ensuring design goals align with business and technical requirements.
Prototyping & Validation: Develop interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate and refine designs based on user feedback.
Design Systems: Contribute to evolving and maintaining our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform. Update and maintain our UI specs documentation to communicate UI to developers.
User-Centered Focus: Ensure all designs are user-centric and accessible, adhering to WCAG standards and best practices.
A UI-focused Product Designer with a passion for creating visually impactful, intuitive, and engaging interfaces.
Figma expert (or expert in similar tools) with experience in designing and maintaining design systems.
Experienced in designing complex data-heavy interfaces, such as dashboards or decision-making tools.
Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for consistency and design precision, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive product.
A natural collaborator and communicator who can present and advocate for design decisions to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Adaptable and eager to learn, with a mindset that embraces both design challenges and opportunities for growth.
English speaking. Danish isn't a requirement, as we are an English-speaking office (although some of us like to practice our newly acquired Danish skills at the coffee machine).
A great colleague and fun to work with!
Experience in fintech and/or B2B SaaS environments.
Experience in creating micro-animations and interactive elements that elevate the user experience.
Familiarity with or interest in WCAG and designing with accessibility in mind.
Design Experience: Work in a small, close-knit design team with plenty of opportunities to grow your skills and learn from others. Or teach and mentor others, if that’s a goal of yours. We’re excited to build our design organisation and create a design culture with fellow designers, sparring and aligning design across platforms.
Fintech experience: Gain hands-on experience in the fintech industry, working on real products in B2B and B2B2C contexts.
Personal Growth: Work in a fast-paced, growing company where you will have plenty of room to grow your design skills, take ownership of your work and play a key role in shaping Monthio’s visual identity and overall product experience.
Full-time role primarily onsite with flexibility for remote work and hybrid arrangements.
A collaborative, informal, and creative work environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.
A culture that promotes innovation, creativity, and social engagement.
The starting date is flexible, but preferably sooner rather than later.
Please submit your CV and portfolio.
We will be doing interviews on an ongoing basis.
